Classification and Common Models of Electric Transfer Cart

Electric transfer cart is an electric transport vehicle in the factory. It is an electric drive vehicle that runs automatically under the drive of a motor reducer. This kind of vehicle has the characteristics of simple structure, easy use, large carrying capacity, not afraid of getting dirty or smashed, easy maintenance, long service life, etc. Because of its convenience, strength, economy, practicality, easy cleaning and many other advantages, it has become a popular choice in the interior and factory buildings of enterprises. It is the preferred means of transport for frequently transporting heavy goods between short distances and fixed points in the factory.

Electric flat cars are mainly divided into rail transfer cart and trackless transfer cart according to their operation modes.

1.Rail Transfer Cart

Rail transfer cart refer to vehicles that run on installed tracks. Its main function is to help enterprises, factories or logistics sites transfer materials or products across regions. The common track is an I-shaped track, and non-standard forms include S-shaped, C-shaped tracks, etc. Mainly divided into the following five types :

(1) KPX battery power supply
KPX battery-powered electric flat car uses the battery to provide power to the DC motor, allowing the DC motor to run to drive the reducer and wheels.

(2) KPJ cable reel power supply
KPJ cable drum powered electric flat car supplies AC 380V power to the YZ metallurgical hoisting motor on the flat car through the cable drum. The motor drives the vehicle to run, and the drum can automatically retract and unwind the cable.

(3) KPD low voltage rail power supply
Working principle of KPD low voltage track powered electric flat car:
Step 1: The ground step-down transformer converts the 380V power supply into a safe voltage of 36V;
Step 2: Connect the 36V safety voltage to the vehicle’s running guide rail;
Step 3: The vehicle's electrical appliance takes power from the guide rail to the vehicle;
Step 4: The vehicle step-up transformer increases the 36V voltage to 380V and delivers it to the vehicle control box.

(4) KPT towing power supply
The working principle of KPT towing power rail flat car is the same as that of KPJ. This equipment does not have a reel. The length of the cable used is suitable to be less than 30 meters. The cable is towed during the driving process of the vehicle.

(5) KPC sliding conductor power supply
Working principle of KPC trolley wire power supply track flat car: The way for KPC series electric flat cars to obtain power is to open an additional trench on the side of the vehicle running track, and arrange safety trolley wire power-taking equipment in the trench. If it is for the sake of appearance, we can install it in the trench A hinged cover is additionally installed on the surface.

2.Trackless Transfer Cart

The trackless electric transfer cart is a special type of electric transfer cart that breaks away from the dependence on the track and achieves flexibility and freedom in mobile operations. It is simple to operate, smooth in turning, and easy to maintain. Moreover, the use of trackless electric transfer cart can save customers a lot of time and reduce costs, and is very popular among customers.
