Gantry crane installation steps

The gantry crane is mainly used for open-air operation and belongs to large-scale lifting machinery. When installing the gantry crane, we must complete the installation of the gantry crane according to the correct installation steps, so as to reduce the chance of the crane accident.

(1) The crane cooperates to assemble the main beam, the supporting legs and the wheel box according to the marking on the ground. After the inspection is passed, the main longitudinal beam is assembled on the ground. Firstly, the main longitudinal beam is hoisted in order by the crane and is divided into one main beam. And the other side of the main beam, and install the people walking platform, waiting for the next assembly.

(2) Assemble the big wheel box on the track of the cart, and after the diagonal line is fixed, fix it with the side leg of the crane and the wheel box. After connecting with the pin, use the wire rope and chain hoist. Adjust the tension and fix it on the ground anchor, and assemble the other side in the same way, so that the legs on both sides are perpendicular to the ground to ensure the installation size of the main beam.

(3) Hanging on both ends of the main beam with two cars, slowly hoisting and placing on the support legs, and tightening the connecting plate under the main beam and the connecting plate on the support joist with bolts. . Then install the other side main beam. Special attention: the main beam is not fixed and the crane should not be loosened.

(4) A single car hoisting and attaching contact frame, and bolted firmly.

(5) Use a single crane to hoist the lifting trolley on the trolley track and adjust it so that the trolley wheel tread is in contact with the track surface.

(6) Use a single car to hoist the driver's cab, ladder, man's walking platform, railings and other accessories to a fixed position.

(7) Install electrical facilities, lay electrical lines, remove cables, ground anchors and other equipment. Ready to test after everything is ready. When commissioning, make a record according to the requirements of the record sheet formulated by the quality inspection department.
