Maintenance requirements for double girder cranes during run-in period

Nov 22, 2019

Double beam cranes are special vehicles. When not using a crane, the operator needs to consult and receive training and guidance from the crane manufacturer. They have a good understanding of the structure and function of the crane and have accumulated some experience in operation and maintenance. The machine can be operated. Learn how to use double girder cranes and how to maintain them later.

Pay attention to the workload during running-in. The working load of the double girder crane during the running-in period shall not exceed 80% of the rated working load, and an appropriate workload shall be arranged to prevent the machine from overheating due to continuous operation for a long time.

Always follow the instructions for each instrument. If an abnormality is found, it should be parked and cleared in time. Before you find the cause, stop working before troubleshooting. Pay attention to the position and quality of the lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, brake fluid and fuel (water) of the double girder crane, and check the sealing performance of the whole machine. If oil or water is found to be missing or excessive during the inspection, the cause should be analyzed. At the same time, the lubrication of each lubrication point should be strengthened. It is recommended to add grease to each shift during run-in (except for special requirements).

Keep small cranes clean and adjust and tighten loose parts in time to prevent parts from being worn or lost due to looseness. After the end of the run-in period, the machine should be forcibly maintained, inspected and adjusted, and the oil changed.

The maintenance requirements of the double girder crane during the running-in period can be summarized as: strengthening training, reducing load, paying attention to inspection, and strengthening lubrication. As long as you face and implement the maintenance of the double girder crane during the running-in period, it will reduce the occurrence of early failures, prolong the service life, improve work efficiency, and bring more benefits to the double girder crane.
