1.Maximum bridge vertical deflection, caused by safe working load and trolley, shall not exceed 1/800 of the span

2. Safety factor of ropes shall not be less than 5 (five) for hoists and not less than 6 (six) for winches

3.Rope length shall be established in relation to hook travel specified in attached documents and so that, when hook is fully lowered, more than two rope turns remain wound around each drum side

4.Ultimate tensile strength of ropes shall not be less than R = 220 kg/mm2

5.All material used for the crane construction shall be recent manufacture, free from defects, laminations, pitting, flakes, etc

6.All  welds shall be  free from defects like  blow holes, lack  of  penetration, slag intrusion, etc

7.Walkway for crane maintenance, inspection and repairs shall be provided along the full span length on either side of crane bridge girders. It shall be fitted with slip- resistant walking surfaces and shall be provided with safety guard railing and toe boards
